Good news on employment
Last Friday’s employment report (for the month of November) swung 180 degrees in the right direction ... posting a huge, positive surprise of only 11,000 jobs lost last month.
The details are encouraging ...
In addition to fewer than expected layoffs last month, September and October were also revised HIGHER by a total of 159,000 jobs!
The average work week rose to 33.2 hours last month, up from 33 in October — not a big jump — but certainly a step in the right direction.

GOOD economic news from around the USA.
To kick off this week, gains in new orders were the highlight of November's Chicago purchasers' report. Chicago's PMI rose nearly 2 points to 56.1 to indicate another strong month-to-month increase in the pace of overall business activity in that area of the country. New orders rose 1.4 points to a very strong 62.8. The Chicago survey includes both service and manufacturing segments of the economy in its report.

" I am going to go so far as to say if you have failed and it did not hurt bad... you did not try hard enough.

How did it go with the xmas tree people that are looking for packaging?

The company I mentioned might require packaging/products as they take them to market in Japan. I'm not sure if they have someone they currently work with or if it's up to the individual client to find someone. I do know that I sent them a contact who ships specifically to Japan and they have used them moving forward.
As for companies I work with, currently my target is 100 employees or more and usually 5 million or higher in annual revenue. These are rough estimates and my current customers are much higher than that but I'd like to bring these powerful tools to smaller businesses. We help manage resources, work flow/processes and time/billing.
