Thanks for telling me about this group! Great idea.

You seem to be a kindred spirit and nice person. Would you like to be friends?

Good to see you though briefly at the CNP. I was exhausted from my 28 hour travel home from Kenya (18 hours in the air and two layovers, London and LA). I had a great time. I want to thank you again for supporting me in contributing to the women caregivers in Kibera, the largest slum in Africa; 1 million people in one square mile. Though they are without sanitary infrastructure, they are clean and their 12xx12 foot homes are clean. They are industrious, working in the daily market place sell all manner of things and making things, and caring for the children. Your contribution helped in raising the salary of the woman who keeps the records for 113 women who participate in Group Savings and Loan a system that rotates funds for starting and expanding businesses among themselve. The initial loan is about $5.00 USD which they double within a month and pay it back with a small interest. Here is a photo you will enjoy. I told them about all of those who donated to help women care for themselves. I committed to raising the salary of the woman who keep all the records by hand and they are impeccable. She will now make $220.00 am month. We also gave her a laptop( made for developing countries) , so she can create a spread sheet. She was so inspired she added and trained another group of about 6 women. Kibera though a slum is full of inspired industrious people with their own economy. $1 dollar means something and $100 can put 15 women into business. The dress I had on was designed and made by one of the business women who is a tailor . It is fully lined and cost $12.00. I gave her $20. this will feed her children for almost a month.
Asante Sana (thank you in Kiswahili)
Thanks for helping make the CNP live a great event! I think I met you at the very end, with my friend, Dr. Zac. I didn't know you were the founder of Affirmagy. Kate has been telling me about your products and that I need to check them out. It would be great to meet you and get to know more about your business. Let me know what would work for you.
Best wishes,
Dr. Lorina
Thank you for all of the amazing work you contributed to the CNP live event.. You really were "everywhere" doing "everything," not to mention all of the advance work and planning. You are a true force of nature and we are all so fortunate to have your support and light in CNP.
Huge hugs!

Thank you so much for the information. I have left a comment for Darren today - haven't been available before now due to being out of town and busy with out of state clientelle. I really appreciate the referral. Let me know if there is anything I can help you with as well. I have several years of experience in multiple areas of many different kinds of companies, so my limitations are few. Let me know if you want to meet up for tea or coffee to chat, or if your schedule is too hectic, we could email or chat the old fashion way - on the phone... Look froward to hearing form you soon!
