I was glad to notice your profile and that you are a photographer in the Kent area. I don't know if you interested in other types of networking, but in November I started a group through Meetup.com called "South King County Event and Wedding Vendors". You can go to the Meetup.com site and find our group. I'm not charging anything except possibly a FUN way to contribute to the monthly website costs. I organized this because of the fact that the largest segment of King County's population is in S. King County. It just seemed like a waste of gas, time and energy to always have to go to Seattle, Bellevue or Tacoma for networking with people involved in the event industry. Our first meeting had 14 people besides myself and I'm told that the first meeting usually averages 2-3 people. I hope that we can be the go-to-team for S. King County events at some point in time!
My BNI group in Renton (Sound Connectors) is also looking for a photographer to round up some power partner teams.
I had the pleasure of meeting Richard Pasko at a Covington Chamber of Commerce event last weekend who started Prudential Meridian Valley office. Small world. The event was held at the Meridian Valley Country Club.
Is there anything that would help your business in particular? I'm an event planner so that would be where I could help most, but I network a lot and run into people all the time and could keep my ears open! I've been thinking of offering house warming parties as part of my business. I know someone who likes to give welcoming packets to people who are new to our area. Lots of ideas, but I'm really trying to promote local businesses.
I saw your comment on a few diff pages saying that you are a real estate investor and naturally, if you choose to do business in San Diego, then you want to work with a professional, like me. Isn't that right?
:-) Have a great day!
Danielle
I must say, you are definitely doing something right! I see your postings and offers to assist all over the site. Congratulations! So tell me, what kind of business support are you looking for? How can I help you?
People do want & need to move, no matter the economy.
I just now got your message. Everything going well?
Have you joined Biznik? That's where the action is these days - hope to see you over there!
In the meantime, let me know if I can help you with anything - if you need a headline tweaked or some editing....whatever it may be.
Look forward to seeing you in early November at the next contribution party.
