Helping independent food business owners see and then reach their full potential.

What's ONE specific goal that you most want to succeed? (*Goal* they are just the milestone to your vision.)

I would like to help 50 local restaurants grow their businesses in 2009.

What are the next one to three things you need in referrals, connections, insight that would move your goal forward.

I would like to meet owners of independent restaurants and food-related businesses who need help restoring or maintaining their businesses. I can help businesses throughout the Puget Sound area.

2. I would like to find a local networking group that focuses on all aspects of working a business. Brainstorming about ways to help each other succeed.

3. I would like to invite businesses from CNP that offer products or services related to food business owners to advertise for free in the referral based classifieds section of my website.

Allowing Oneself to Dream

As the end of the year is within arms length, I have just begun to plan my life in the new year.
This may sound a bit crazy, but I was never much of a forecaster when it comes to my own personal life.

My plans for my business, plans for my child, plans for everyone and everything else always came before my own personal desires. I always thought that I had everything that I always wanted. Then my son grew up and went to college, I gave up the hectic restaurant life and..., nothing.

How Are You Living?

I have always considered myself to be in great shape.., even now, at 48. I still believed that I can run, jump, climb, and do all of the things I used to do as a young Sergeant in the military. I have owned several restaurants in the past and thus believed because I was always busy meant that I am in excellent shape. Boy was I wrong!

Either the 23rd or 28th at 2:00 would be good for me. You could take that 1:10 Ferry and same plan.

OR: if you'd like to come over on Monday the 26th perhaps on a ferry that leaves Seatttle around 12:00 or so then you could attend our 1:30-2:30 seminar we are having that day..
You could get your information out during our networking portion and perhaps get some more new connections that way too. The place we are having it the owner has a lot of connections plus the other attendees may too.

Then I could have our appointments set up with those two restaurants for after the seminar. I could see if that day would work for them.

The event in Kent on the 12th is at Kona Kai 124 4th Ave. S. It starts at 7:00 p.m.but if you needed to come a little late that is okay.Plus I could see if the owners want to visit for a little while after with you.

Also something you may be interested in is our seminar coming up Monday Janaury 12th. It is a motivational/networking seminar.It is in Kent at a wonderful coffee place that also serves food. Perhaps they would need your service. If you can plan to come I could see if we could meet with the owners early and visit with them about what you do.

You'd enjoy our seminar too. Bring lots of business cards to give out.
It is from 7:00 p.m-9:00 on the 12th. If you are interested let me know it is free so seats are filling up!!

Check the ferry schedule and I could pick you up on this side if you take the Bainbridge ferry at what ever time it arrives around 1:30.
