The big REACH Auction and Evening of Hope

Dear, friends and loyal supports of The Hopechest.

I am pleased to inform you that The Hopechest (THC) plans to expand. To accomplish this, THC will operate in partnership under the non-profit resources of the Jubilee REACH Center (JRC). To help our organizations move forward, THC will participate in the Big REACH Dinner Auction, May 29th at the Marriott Redmond.

Jubilee REACH is a hub center connecting local schools, government, churches, businesses and other service organizations to the needs of kids and families in our community to provide an hand ‘up’ through programs that provide educational enrichment and resources to affirm youth, sustain stable families, build community and transform lives. Located in the heart of Bellevue’s most diverse, underserved neighborhood, where 39 different languages are spoken and 64% of kids are eligible for subsidized lunch at the neighboring Lake Hills Elementary School the Jubilee REACH Center enlists the support of over 400 volunteers who give more than 25,000 hours of their time to serve in 25 programs that REACH out to families in crisis.

The Big REACH Dinner Auction is JRC’s major fundraising event of the year. I would like to invite you to help me make this year’s auction and our partnership a smashing success. We are in the process of procuring items for the silent and live auction. We would sincerely appreciate an attractive donation from your organization. As an independent 501 (c)(3), non-profit organization that raises all it funding from individuals, grants, churches and corporate matching gifts, your contribution to the Jubilee REACH Center’s/Hopechest Auction is tax deductible and will benefit THC. You may use the attached procurement form and fax or mail it back.

With these economic times, the needs are even greater for so many on the margins in our community facing job losses, homelessness, and distress that is literally breaking families apart.
